yeah it's kinda cool how the lines all interesect there at the top and the sun is lined up exactly with the power pole by chance. I know this is way overly analyzing, but I don't think they make or break the photo (but that is already obvious since it mad POD anyway). I love the color of the sky in this shot. Now if only the clouds would go away here in Oregon...

You don't need to pedal as long as you scrub the double before it. If you thunk the double you lose a lot of speed. It's a really fun, really smooth jump

Branding is all Hype. Value is determined by what the consumer is willing to pay. Mongoose does sell a lot of walmart bikes, however that is a devision of mongoose that isn't even owned by Dorel/CSG so they do not see that revenue. Mongoose/GT/Schwinn/Cannondale is the company I am referring to. I love my Boot'r and it's built up completely tits. The reality is, that since Mongoose does not have that big of a name in the US freeride game, their bikes sell for less money with a good parts kit. This Diamondback is a shining example of exactly that. Diamondback isn't big in the game anymore, but this bike looks promising, so for the price, and the components list it's a great way to break into the sport. You won't ever catch me on a Specialized or a Trek.

This is what brought me to my Mongoose. They are not widely hyped in the US, thus driving their prices down to a minimum, while still providing an excellent product. As long as this bike is quality, I'm sure it will be a very nice affordable option for those getting into the sport, or even the weekend warriors of old.

This shot is different, but It doesn't really blow my dress up. I like the idea and the creativity, but when I look at it I don't really feel like riding, or get that feeling like I'm stoked. I more or less want a cold glass of water. Hopefully tomorrow's POD is more about riding.

This photo sums up the way I feel in my head about riding in the Pacific Northwest. It's difficult to really explain to anyone how crazy it all looks as your blasting through the green. Surfing has it's green room, but so does Pacific Northwest freeride.
